ES-7 days trip	Region: Spain. This is a set of trips for a full week riding in Spain! All of the roads are absolutely fantastic, they cannot be recommend highly enough. The route is to be taken as arriving on the Bilbao Ferry. You will notice that Day 3 is missing as this was a day off the bikes but it nicely allows anyone to ride around Guadalest which there are routes around the area for. The Requena to Ayora road (N-330) is truly awesome to ride and highly recommended. The Picos Mountains on Day 6 are breathtaking again fantastic. The whole trip is fantastic. About the files: - The routes have the names of the hotels at the end, they are all biker friendly and all have secure underground parking. - 'FRNT' in the names stands for Fastest Route No Toll. - Sometimes the routes come up with "Do you want to avoid Unpaved Roads?" You must click 'No', don't worry: TomTom is good but the maps are still not that up to date!
ES-Spain tour	Region: Spain. A set of trips for 10 days in Spain! These trips avoid all toll roads and have only about 60 miles of motorway out of 2300 miles of pure brilliant roads! The author about these itineraries: Day 1 is from Santander to Potes and is only 125 miles as the ferry does not doc until 1300 and hence i only planned a half days riding. Day 2 is a route around the Picos mountains and it was stunning I have two routes for this 190 miles or 250 miles. I only did the 190 which was enough as i had my wife aboard and this was a full day, had she wished to have stayed by the pool then there was the 250 option, but to be honest the 190 was absolutely stunning, a truly beautiful place with nigh on empty roads throughout, a very overlooked biking destination! Day 3 Potes to Haro - the centre of the Rioja wine region, a truly lovely old Spanish town with absolutely amazing roads to get there we spent a day off by the pool and investigating the area on foot. Day 4 Haro to Alcala de Henares - South west of Madrid. Again awesome biking roads to get there and a nice stopover in a town famous for its Storks. Day 5 Haro to Ayora. This route takes you down to an area that has probably some of the best biking roads i know of and in particular the N330. Ridden either way it's awesome, there is a new section avoiding Confrentes which i would avoid and go through the old town, far better. It Runs (North) from Almansa to Requena which is stunning and is a must ride road but as said it's as good either way see day 7 which gives this part of the route in full! Day 6 is called Ayora Round Robin - This is just pure riding Bliss taking in some of the most amazing roads you just need to ride this route to appreciate what biking is all about! Day 7 Ayora to Caltuyad - Stunning roads again taking in nearly the whole of the N330 possibly one of the roads to take on the Route Napoleon as the best biking roads in Europe. Day 8 Caltuyad to Pont de Suert - This route really takes you across the plains in Spain, its very different and you come across solar farms and wind farms in the middle of nowhere, the route ends up in a small town which has a beautiful route around a reservoir and is a perfect stopover to go into the Pyrenees. Day 9 Pont de Suert to Vitoria Just in case you think it could not get any better it just does, the Pyrenees are just beautiful and all the better on the Spanish side, hardly any traffic, the roads leading into and out of Sanguesa are breathtaking, also a very good stop for lunch before taking in the rest of the route. My final point is at a hotel outside the very large town but only a 8 euro taxi ride into the centre. Day 10 Vitoria to Santander 110 miles of more fantastic roads and mountains, this route will take you a minimum of three hours in good weather so leave in plenty of time for your ferry! ES-Ara-Pseudo-Quebrantahuesos (Jaca-Jaca)	Region: Aragón, The Pyrenees. This is a circular route in the central Pyrenees based on "Quebrantahuesos Cycling Tourits route". The only change is the start/end point, moved form Sabiñanigo to Jaca (better tourist accommodations). You can get more information at http://www.quebrantahuesos.com/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrenees. Note: Google Maps is having troubles to map the route between Le Col de Marie-Blanque and Bilhères (both in France), but curiously there is only one road!! No problems in TomTom ONE & RIDER.

It goes through Sos del Rey Católico an small medieval town (http://www.sosdelreycatolico.com/ web/intro.asp),and Tafalla, also in Navarra (http://www.tafalla.net/). I recommend Restaurante Túbal in Tafalla (http://www.restaurantetubal.com/) for lunch and dinner. You can start the route in Bilbao (Guggenheim Museum, etc.), it's only 20 Km from Zubiaur (Orozko).
