How to display a route or a POI file with Tyre?
  • Create or open a route file or a POI file.
  • Click the 'Show route' button in the main window (see the picture on the right).
    If Google Earth is not active yet, it will be activated, and the route file will be displayed (using the options you have set in the 'Options' window).
To display routes and waypoints in Google Earth correctly, make sure you have the 'Roads' option checked (see the picture on the right). With this option checked, you wille able to see better the exact location of waypoints and routes.


The installation of Google Earth is not always right. Google Earth is not to blame for that. Corruption of an installation is most of the time done by another application or by accident.

But if the installation of Google Earth has been corrupted, the cooperation between Google Earth and Tyre will not be performed (properly).

If you receive the message that an error has occurred trying to run Google Earth, you should do the following:
  • Go to the 'Options' window.
  • Choose the 'Google Earth' tab.
  • Click the button 'Repair the Google Earth installation'.
The cooperation should be performed properly now!
